Home watch on Fort Myers Beach

A beach property spends most of the summer empty, in salt air, with nobody to notice the small things. Weekly or bi-weekly inspections, with a photo report after every visit.

An island home asks for a closer eye

Estero Island is a narrow strip, and almost everything on it sits within reach of salt air. That is hard on exterior fixtures, screens, hinges and anything metal, and it works quietly while nobody is there. Inside, a closed-up condo in July behaves differently from a house inland. We come over from Cape Coral, walk the property inside and out, and send you a photo report of what we found.

We also watch homes in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers and Matlacha. Curious what you receive after a visit? See an example report.

What we check at your beach property

  • Water, leaks and plumbing, inside and out
  • AC, humidity and mold risk in a closed-up unit
  • Salt air on screens, hinges and exterior fixtures
  • Doors, windows, security and mail
  • Lanai, balcony and outdoor furniture
  • Electrical basics and appliances left running
Why local matters

Close by, and honest about the drive

Fort Myers Beach is a short drive from our base in Cape Coral outside of season. In season, when Estero Boulevard fills up, it takes longer, and we plan for that instead of pretending it does not happen. What matters is that a problem gets seen within days rather than months.

You always know who visited your home, and every inspection is logged with geolocation as proof it happened on site.

Home Watch is defined as a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues.
Good to know

Home watch on Fort Myers Beach, answered

Weekly or bi-weekly, whichever fits how you use your home. You can pause visits when you are here or the property is rented, and they resume when it is empty again.

Yes. A condo gets the same inspection as a single-family home, adjusted to what is actually yours to check.

It works on anything metal, so screens, hinges, tracks, railings and exterior fixtures show it first. None of it is dramatic on any single day, which is exactly why it goes unnoticed when nobody visits for months. We photograph the exterior condition on every visit so you can see it change over time.

Outside season it is a short drive from our base in Cape Coral. In season, when Estero Boulevard is busy, it takes longer and we plan the route around it. Ask us about your address and we will be straight with you about what we can hold.

A photo report showing what we checked and what we found, with the date and the name of the person who did the visit. You can see an example report here.
